The Clique Booth

I saw my friend's niece in her friendster account. She' so cute and pretty. I was so curious where it was taken, its so cute! Then, I learned from my dear friend, Ann, that she'll be having a Clique Booth on her wedding this December 2008. So now I know! For me this is such a lovely souvenir that the guest will surely keep. Its personalized and something new. SO excited to go na on her wedding day. Ann also told me that this is "unlimited"..wow!

House Album Entry for ArtzDesScrap

I waited til last Friday, unfortunately I was not able to received the house album. So worried that I can no longer join the challenge. Last weekend I have been busy on planning and making this album. So glad that I'm on the mood. Translation: Ginanahan ako..LOL. I used mostly my scraps on this, actually this are the mini papers left. And I was also able to use my Inque Boutique stamps.. and I really love it! I'm planning to collect it.

Lomography

I've seen the word "Lomo" before while browsing Jason Magbanua's site . But I just ignored it. Few months ago, I learned from my brother about the "Lomo" or the "Lomography". It is simply using a camera with specialized feature emphasizing casual snapshot photography. Characteristics such as over saturated colors, blurring, "happy incidents" and alternative film processing are the parts of the Lomographic technique. The cameras are one of a kind some of their cameras make use of multiple lenses and rainbow colored flashes or extreme optical distortion. Use it in a way to document your everyday life.. something like that as in " don't think, just shoot!"..hehe! Nakulitan lang ako sa look ng cameras... By the way, concept of this is to use the films.. di cya digital. So medyo hassle din, you don't get to see right away the pics you've taken. . .

Living Life card

I made this card last night. I was so happy that I'm in the mood to think for an idea. For the past few days.. I really have a hard time thinking. I've been busy with my 8x8 album last weekend. I just thought yesterday to take another try. This is my another entry in Dixie Pieces challenge (Quote of the Day Challenge)

birthday card for Dennis

I sneak a time alone this weekend. Hehe! I just decided to make a simple birthday card for my one and only..dear husband. Dennis is a very simple person and he even criticize my work minsan..hehe complicado daw sa dami=) Even before he's like that, so I make sure this card will be just like him. Simple pero sweet. Secret lang to ha.. His birthday will be on the 18th of May=) I used my cellphone to capture it.. kasi he usually use our digicam. baka madiscover nya eh...

1st EB

I made this layout last Saturday. Dennis & I stayed at home the whole weekend. I guess, its just the right time to relax and do some scrapping stuffs. Well, I get to see this picture taken by my cellphone ( we got no cameras when we go to the fundraising..sayang nga eh). I was so happy attending the EB + Fundraising. Maricel and I did not plan coming to this event. It just happened=) We are both happy to see our scrapbooking idols (as in!) and as a first timer..it was good to see the demo conducted by Nita and Cabbie. I really dig new ideas that time.. I confessed I never knew about the "tearing effect" ...literal na tearing pala pwedi na=) I was so kilig also to my hubby who bids for the scrap bag i wanted. We lost actually, pero ok lang kasi wala na sa budget, but I got a cheaper bag na pwedi na rin for my stuffs ( scrapbooking caddy). Its the thought that counts.. diba..

Hopeful

I got a text from a telecoms company and invited me for an exam yesterday. Well, not so sure how I did. It is one of the leading telecoms..that's why i'm too hopeful that I can pass the exams. I'm praying..so hard. I wish I could get my a job there. So happy my husband is so supportive, that he even waited for me=)

Just like to share the card I made for the "quote of the day challenge" in Dixie Pieces. What do you think? I, myself, love it and I made it for 2 nights.. I was so preoccupied coz I'm having a trouble on what to use in the wordings of the card. I ended up using rub-ons, w/c I think is better. Whew! Basta I simply love it=)

Well I got no doubt choosing the person closest to my heart, my husband. This is my first time to do hidden journaling and I'm really clueless of what to say at first...I got no idea of talaga but one thing is for sure.. I'm still in-love and thankful. Dennis actually saw the LO, and he was so curious and he keeps on asking "baket 10 year kagad??" And he saw the hidden paper behind the scalloped paper..but he never attempts to read it. Pero makulit..he wants to know..hehe!

I made this LO last monday. And I just finished doing the journaling yesterday. Most of the papers I used on this is Love Elsie. I just love the colors. I got the idea from my Scrapbook Play magazine that I bought in Booksale. It simply indicates some highlights of my age (27)..

I Miss LUCKY...

He's our youngest brother.. that's no joke! He's my mom's little boy. My mom used to say that she feels she really has a baby.. she gives him a bath twice a weeks, she grooms him, she feeds him...But she's happy having our little baby.

Lucky is a shitzu. . He was given to us by my dad's friend when he was 2 months old only. He's playful and a real cutie. My 2 brothers, Sam & Sherwin, used to play with him and minsan inaasar. Lucky is quite "pikon". I can still remember.For the past 4 years, he made us happy and entertained...sobra! I'll always love this dog of ours.. super love.

October 4, 2007..i found him dead. We have no idea what it was. Pero I remember the night before, he used to play with my twin nephew who visited us. No trace of weakness...haaay! When I saw him, I can't believe he's gone, and I'm in a denial stage pa. I just left for work that time and I don't even bother to wake everyone... basta di ko natanggap na Lucky has left us already..dramatic ba? I just happened to see Yoyin's blog, kaya naging emotional ule ako....huhu!

My Very First Mini Album

I'm done with my first mini album. I've been working for this for 3 nights and finally here it is. This was inspired by the heat I've been experiencing for the past few weeks.. SUMMER! My apologies, the pictures are not that CLEAR.. I just used my mobile (Nokia 6300) , too bad our camera is still under repair with Cannon. pics taken at the office..hehe! I'll just add other close up shots of each page when I got a REAL camera..Thanks for viewing

Techniques:

• I used 3x3 Maya Road Accordion Album


• I painted it..that's why it took me 3 nights to finish (I just work on it when I got home from the office)


• I also used a crackle paint of SEMCO..huhu! 3 layers of painting. Using the base , then the SEMCO crakle paint, and finally the coat (pick the contrasting color of the base paint u used)


• handwritten journal by yours truly to make it more personalized..wink*


• inque botique flower stamps in the front page..my first try..

I won!

I was never too lucky in different raffles or contests...but yesterday has been a good day for me. I joined the Kaya Challenge 11 where we will used the picture of any of our Hollywood crushes and as instructed we will be using the "Blings!" Never thought of winning...coz I never won in any random draws. My fellow scrapper, Rachelle, has texted me yesterday that I won the challenge...WOW! I was so surprised. Today, I just saw the goodies in PS Blog courtesy of Mia...Mas na excite ako!!! wow ule!!!
