MARCH 1, 2010. Its a mall rat Monday for me.

Just felt like printing pictures for my Christmas album. I was so excited yesterday to prepare the stuff needs and just found out that papers are not enough...I only have 3 pcs of the Christmas papers..gosh! But I still got my pictures printed today. And while waiting for the pictures to be printed, I dropped by Simple Joys..and I got 2 simple joys....

Another simple summer joy...which inspires me to lose weight. Fab find at Folded and Hung! The 2 piece swim wear. I find it cheap and sexy. Hopefully, to lose pounds..heck! I keep on asking myself of what to do. But I'll try it this week, my own way.. less junks, and healthy foods..(no pork!...will try to work that out...). Just can't figure out why I keep on gaining despite the running addiction (?)..oh HELP! I'm giving myself two consecutive weeks to lose this annoying pounds..hehe!

Meeting #1: Rachelle's back!

We have no idea, until I send a message at Facebook...kundi pa okrayin di hihirit! hehe!. Buti na lang talaga may FB. Dumating na pala si Rachelle! Last Thursday, me and my bestest friends in highschool have agreed to meet up at Trinoma. Rachelle's back again and its so good to see her. We are almost complete this time, our last meet up was last January 2009, but Andeng couldn't make it. So here we are almost almost complete (too bad, Lynnette is not here in the Phils...but we are looking forward this April 2010).

I never thought I could make it to Trinoma. I left the office at around 6p.m. and unfortunately LRT was closed due to fire nearby the Recto station. The place is so crowded and busy. I even texted one of my friends, Andeng, that I could not go with them na. But I was glad that I was lucky enough to find a jeepney to Morayta and lucky again to ride an FX to Trinoma..with no traffic pa sa Espana.

It will always be a special meet up, since this does not happen in a long time. When I arrived at Trinoma, I meet up with Jenny and Andeng. Then Cel and Rachelle arrived. Flory ann meet us up at Giligan's. How I miss the noise and the kakulitans. Our conversation has been pretty interesting. With our favorite topic. How we evolve. Less na ang conservative and it was all fun.

I have been busy lately. I really know why....I must admit Facebook is so addicting and it really eats my time. Well, now that I'm in my mood for blogging, now its time to update what's happening in my daily life. December has been a busy month. And so sad, my first day of the month has to start with a different unit. Sad that I have to leave Binondo. Not so sure if this is for good, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. How so unfair, in a different view. But I am hopeful now...enough of the downside. Sharing the UPside of my life...with my dear friends..everywhere who shares the laughs with me.

Menage saves the day

Here I go again. Not really a good week for me....I've been so busy and stressed at work. Never ending problems..Maybe I'm not just feeling lucky enough. I can't seem to find what I am looking for. Its just mixed emotions. I just felt so restless and "ugly"..hehe that's it... Today, I'm pretty tired and I've been wanting a change in my lifeless hair. . So after office I just decided to drop by Menage Salon at Gateway. This is the place that never fails to make me feel and look good..wink..wink. Today I go for the Creative Director, for a change and I never wanted to wait for 30 minutes for the Creative Team (mas cheaper, P250 lang sana..kaya lang matagal). The P300 haircut is sulit na din. With a relaxing towel, a massage, and a four seasons ice tea...pwede na :) My instructions: I want to keep my hair long..basta style lang and enhance ng bangs..hehe few weeks ago I just have my hair done at Fix..kaso di ako masaya so here I am going back to my ever trusted salon...

I'm so happy last July 30, i get to buy a laptop. I think about it over, and over. But I finally decided to get my very own. So happy because di nako squatter...sa panghihiram..hehe. I chose to buy Compaq Presario CQ40. I think this is a best buy and wise na din. I'm contented with its 14.1 widescreen and also may DVD na. Before I've been wanting a mini notebook, but I think this type would be better. I bought this with my dear friend, Maricel who help me out while we stroll at Trinoma... you're a big help talaga.

My dear Father-in-law just turned 60 last June 9. We celebrated his 60th birthday at Tramway Garden Buffet at Timog. Together with other relatives, we have our lunch buffet last Saturday (June 13). There were no kids actually, except for Caitlyn, who enjoys going out the resto while we all enjoy our hearty lunch.

I love being busy, of course with the company of friends and family...Last weekend has been a busy one. It started last friday night (06.5.09), where my former UCPB officemate/dear friend, Susan, celebrated her bongacious birthday bash at Coffee Nook @ El Pueblo. It has been a reunion for my former officemates. It has always been fun, good food and lots of drinks..but I had ice tea for this night..hehe! not really in the mood to drink.

Then last Saturday (06.6.09) was Caitlyn's 1st birthday. I thought the celebration will be on the afternoon, around 12 noon pala. The party was held at McDonald's Marcos Highway. The party was attended by family, relatives, and friends of my SIL. And as usual, I can't avoid the food there, hey...favorite ko dun..hehe! Dennis was the official photographer and while Byron, my BIL, took the videos. Its a good thing my hubby got the new videocam. After the program and hearty meal, Birdie and Hamburgular take the stage. The kids really adore them and I even take the opportunity to have a pictorial with them..hehe! antagal nila magpakuha parang ayaw..

The party ended at around past 2 P.M. In the evening, Dennis and I drove all the way to Lagro where will stay for the night coz it will be another day for me...my 2nd marathon..

TGIS! 06.7.09...Its 4 am when I finally get out of bed.. actually ako huling bumangon..lahat gising na and almost done. Dennis is our official driver/photographer for the marathon, since he's not really into it.. We left our house at 4:30 am. Imagine how fast I have to move to fix myself.. no make ups..hehe! Our first stop is to pick up my friend, Cel, who's also joining..Next stop, to pick up, Nikki, friend of my cousin na friend ko na din...hehe! Then off we went to the Fort. My brother, Sam, is getting too worried coz it was already past 5 am and we are still in Commonwealth..He joined the 15K run, which will start at 5:30 am..eh kaming lahat by 6am pa. We reached the location at exactly 5:30am. Late na bro ko, while us, even have warm up..onti lang. So ayun, we run at 6am..kakapagod pero it was still fun for me..same feeling of excitement I felt. After the marathon, we register again for another one to be held at U.P. (GIG run) on June 28. Addicting talaga. And then we had breakfast sa walang kasawa-sawang McDonald's...ulet..McDonald's weekend pala eto..mali ang title ng topic ko..

I was officially registered by my brother for the Earth Run 05.31.09. Since he works in an advertising agency we got P50 off from the P200 registration fee (which includes a singlet, a.k.a JERSEY..ewan ko ba bakit iniba pa term). In my preparation, I already bought my running shoes, course I don't want to hurt my feet and just for something new to try, syempre dapat geared ako para kung sakali maulit. My dear friends Cel and Jenny will be joining too with their own recruits..hehe! Still scouting for the shorts, maybe next week...can't hardly wait..wink! wink!
I got this feeling...dadami uli ang friends sa FB plus more get togethers coz my cousins will also be there to join. . .To be continued

Thoughts..

HOW IT HAPPEND:Last, last week I've been wanting to be at Tagaytay.. Ewan ko ba. Siguro kasi I've been wanting a quick getaway..why not? When my dear friend, Ate Susan, asked me where ang gimik..yun ang sagot ko and there it goes, pareho na kaming excited. Last May 16, I was so bored at home! SObrang bored talaga. So at around past 9 P.M I was able to convince Dennis to go out. Basta just can't stand boredom..watching TV all day on a SATURDAY! We just hang out at Blue Wave in Marikina @ Starbucks, while I also texted our friends, Ate Susan and Boss to hang out. Ibang level ang texting powers ko, sumunod sila..hehe! I got what I wanted. And we transferred to other place nearby..we went to Beach House bar. We drink few bottles and puro chit-chats na kakulitan til 2 A.M. (take note..2 A.M) Before we part our ways..I suggested if they want to go to Tagaytay. Ayun na.We even planned to go at Ate SUsan's place by 5 A.M..basta anytime in the morning.I get what I wanted again..and since it will be Dennis' birthday on the 18th..so bakit nga ba hindi..pwede naman advance celebration..diba, diba???

Sunday. 05.17.09

I did not woke up early. Pissed off lang when somebody woke up earlier than you dba tas di ka gigisingin. Enough of that. Basta pinilit ko matuloy kahit past 7 A.M nako nagising. Hehe! We arrived at Cainta (Susan's place) at around 10 A.M. After namin maki-breakfast we left agad. Saya lang. Though there are few hassles... I just got to shake it off as always. Ate Susan, has a lot of kwentos kaya buhay ang trip. We arrived at Tagaytay at around 12 noon. We attended a mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Church. My first time..so I guess I got 3 wishes. . mmm still thinking nga kung ano yun wish ko. After that we look for a nice place to have lunch. We ended up sa bulaluhan dun..pero syempre we looked for a nice view. We got a very sinful lunch. I'm guilty eating lechon kawali and bulalo..shet! After, we went to a place nearby with lots of tambayan..forgot the name eh..basta we have pictorials lang. Its hot in Tagaytay that time..dko ko feel ang cold.Then after that we went to Carlo's Pizza. A very terrific place to go. We spend all afternoon there. Pizza..Nachos..SHakes..Beers..We tried everything there. We stayed til 7pm ata. Walang humpay na kwentuhan. When we finally feel the coldness..wheew..sarap then ayun we decided to go home. But that does not end there...hehe! We stayed for a while at Ate Susan's house..salubungin daw namin birthday ni Dennis...Few more bottles and the chili Doritos ..

How I am?

For the past few weeks I've been stressed with work... which is bothering me a lot.
Trying to cope with many lapses I made. Sobra! I need a break...Just feeling a bit bad about life..I hope this coming week I'll be okay..Emote lang=(

I've been an Eraserheads fanatic since my highschool days.. I must admit they still ROCK my world.....

The first reunion concert of the E-heads last Aug 30, 208, has not been that much good, due to Ely's health condition. I never even thought that this concert will still be pursued. Until it was officially announced in the web and newspapers last January (i believe its January). Well, last night there are thousands of people who gathered for the "Final Set" , and its really overwhelming. Good old songs are so nice to be heard again, and I'm surprised that I can still sing along with them. Even the fast songs that Raymund Marasigan sang..(grabe!..u rock!). In most of the concert it was Ely Buendia who is only singings, aside from Raymund, Marcus Adoro also sang one song...his own rendition of "Huwag Mo Nang Itanong"...pretty good huh, in a reggae tone with matching kakulitan. So entertaining! We have some pictures taken, this was before the concert started. We are at the concert ground at around 6:30pm. And we waited for more than 2 hours! (believe it!) but its all worth it... Thanks to my hubby, who is with me all the time and nakiki-ride sa kabaliwan ko..hehe! di madali yun I know...Thanks Dennis , Love u so much!

Paintball @ La Mesa Ecopark 02.21.09

Its Saturday- its paintball day!. We are invited by our fellow Unionbankers from the other area for this small get together. And its me and my officemate, Oliver, who came to join in our area. We are sort of late (especially me). It was my very first time to come at La Mesa Ecopark considering that I used to lived at Quezon City for the past 26 years of my life...how ironic! I commute all the way from San Mateo, Rizal to Ecopark. I arrived at around 11:30 A.M, actually we are supposed to be there by 9:30 A.M (buti na lang medyo na late pa sila). So as I arrived, the receptionist helped to gear me up.This is my very first paintball experience too. So I really had no idea. We are given some brief instructions before we start. How to use the guns, we should wear mask all the time...stuff like that. This is my first also to meet the other groups, so medyo shy pa ko. But I found them very nice and enjoying so I have no problems warming up..hehe!. So as we started, they let us first come in the war zone (whatever they call the place..basta yun ang tawag ko) and find our hiding place. I was so scared, coz I got the idea that the paintballs can cause bruises..kaya puro tago ako. And on the first game, I was caught by the opponent plus nagkabukol pako dahil sa paintball..haha! hilarious.. After the game, we have some pictorials with our gears. Medyo smelly lang ang gears dahil siguro sa pawis ng iba..hehe! Right after that, we get to stroll around the park. I was impressed with the place coz I felt like I'm in Baguio (not of the weather ha) because I thought I was in Botannical garden..then when I see the boats, I just thought I was in Burnham Park. So nice to meet new people and of course, in this place...I want to go back with Dennis, soon=)
