Coffee Addict

Here's my take on the Scrapdragons Challenge 19...but I guess I did not make it on time..huhu!

But I have fun making this LO last saturday. Too bad, we still got no internet connections at home. I just got to upload it in the office.

The challenge is about obsessions...well, no doubt , this is my everyday addiction. I can have 5-6 cups a day. I can't start the morning without it, and can't sleep without drinking it. Same with my hubby...that's why I can't stay away from coffee..I got an addicted partner too..hehe!

Door Tag

I saw a plain door tag w/c is only 2 for P55! No doubt I bought it last Monday when I dropped by Japan Home Center. I was so excited to make one for our new room...I work on with the one tag..a personalized one with our initials...

Ally

A frame for my niece, Ally. Haven't seen her for more than a year. She's just months old when I last see her, now she's turning 3! this July. I rarely see her coz they lived at Subic. I rarely go there na, especially when I got married. Hope we could come to her party this July...

Twins!

Something I made yesterday. I was on leave..I made a personalize frame for my nephews, who are twins! This little boys are so cute and they never failed to make me smile everytime I visited them at my cousin's house.

Highschool Reunion

Last May 24, 2008, we have our very first reunion which was held at our Alma Matter..It has been a decade since we graduated from highschool. So hard to believe that we are older now! Never thought that it can be that successful, thanks to our president (4E!) Caloy! Bow ako sayo kasama ng mga coordinators (wow!) You all did it well... It was such a happy memory, to see the same faces I used to see everyday when we are still at Sacred Heart Academy. Its very differrent now, some are married..with kids..successful..still the same "makulit"..still single..name it! And what more amazes me is that the date of the event is a great timing, some are scheduled for a vacation...while some make an effort to go back sa Pinas (grabe..tama ba?..meron kasi daw umuwi for the reunion..). So here are some of the pics.. can't put all of it, but I manage to put the best pics here in my LO.

Silly Guy

I just decided to make a LO for my betterhalf, with the lazy Saturday...all day in the house? SO excited to sit all day in my nook. The title simply describes this guy, I was just like having a 3 year old kid, sa "kakulitan", at pati ang gamit ko minsan sa scrapbooking station, pinag-tripan! hehe! pero okay lang..Here's my LO:

Scrapfest 5 LO

I made this LO, 2 nights ago, but I was able to do my journaling just last night. Title was inspired from the song I love, which just matches with the heat of the sun in Isabela. Well, If you happen to see the movie, "A Lot Like Love" starring Ashton Kutcher and Amanda Peet, this is the soundtrack of it and this was sung by "Aqualung"...I just love it that I even used it in our wedding MTV video. I'm kinda busy processing my documents for my new job. I still can't believe that I'll be moving now to another company. But I'll still find time to make new LOs (promise!)

Finally...

I've been very busy for couple of weeks, fixing our things as we moved to a new room.
I was so happy to make 2 accomplishments. A card and a personalized frame. I can't figure out why..why..why..my creative side is not working for the past few WEEKS! I'm thinking if I'm still adjusting to my new place..or wala lang..hehe! Maybe I'm just so excited with my nook! But I'm so glad to make some other things for other people.

I was thinking of giving my in-laws a frame before. Yesterday, after office I was able to buy a frame at Japan Home Center. Guess what? Its only P55..nice! This is the cheapest frame I found, its really a great buy. I was so excited to give it to them, that I even started working on it last night. It took me only 30 minutes to finish this one. Kaya pala I'm so excited! I just loved it. Its simple and elegant. I gave it to Mama this morning.. she loves it too! Katuwa ang smile sa face nya=)

Last weekend, we finally moved in our new room...of course sa house nila hubby which is newly rennovated. I was so excited, of course I get to have my scrap nook..I just finished fixing our stuffs and my scrapbooking stuffs yesterday. Finally I get to scrap better, kasi dati nun nagrent kami..sa floor lang..hehe!

As what my hubby always try to say.."learn to wait, and then you'll find out". Last last week has been very disappointing. But last week, something good (or I mean something better) has happened. I applied for a job in a bank last June 3. Then, after half an hour, I received a text inviting me to come for an exam on wednesday or thurday (my choice). I decided to take the exam on thursday. So I was in Ortigas on a thursday morning, of course, with my better half, Dennis, who is having his training in the same area. SO happy that I passed the exam, it is actually an elimination type. And we got 2 rounds! WOW! I can't believe that I passed it and I was scheduled for an interview on the same day at around 4pm. I was out in their Head Office at around 12 noon. So I headed straight to the Galleria after the exam, for my lunch. On my way, I just still can't believe that I made it. I have to wait for 4 long hours. But I just can't stroll in the mall...hehe! FYI my boss' office is just inside the Galleria..and I might just get caught (secret..secret!)

Luckily, my most awaited movie is on showing. It's Sex and the City. I have promised myself to watched it. And I guess its the right time=) with Dennis approval for me to watch alone...I GET TO SEE IT!!! I got teary-eyed, I laugh and laugh...all emotions rolled in to one...the movie is something I wanted to watch again. Its about life...a real story in everyone of us. I really missed the 4 fab ladies=) . The movie has ended at around 3:15pm, just in time for me to prepare for the interview at 4pm.

I arrived at the Headoffice of the bank before 4 Pm. So so ! nervous! This is the part I hated in every job application. I'm not really good at it and I just feel a bit uncomfortable. I waited for the 2 fellows who are first scheduled. During my interview, I feel so lucky. Why? the interviewer is nice and she's not "nakakanerbyos"..hehe! I just felt like talking to a friend. I was offered with the job in a branch..where? in Binondo.. I was so in doubt first, but I was offered a good position, a junior officer position. Before the interview, I ask God , if something will be given to me by the company, I'll take the chance no matter what it is. So there...I finally agreed though I was in doubt because of the location. I am residing in San Mateo, Rizal then I'll be going to work in Binondo. . Its a challenge for me. Finally, I was asked to stay and according to Ms Toni, the interviewer, I was just so lucky that I do not have to go to Binondo because the boss there is in the HO..wow! another bonus=) I have my interview with the boss and the interview goes well, I should say. I just felt happy after it though still have no idea..no assurance of the job.

Dennis and I met after the interview. We headed straight to Medical City. My sister-in-law (Den's youngest sibling) just gave birth that day (around 5:30 AM). SO happy that my sister-in-law is okay naman, she has normal delivery despite she has asthma and she's diabetic. The first apo's name is Caitlyn. While at the hospital, I received a text..wow isa pang bonus! I'm invited to come for the job offer on Friday...wow! wow!

The weekend that was....

Last week has not been that good, well, the feeling of being rejected from a company you like to work with..but I was so wrong. The week has been a bit kind for me. My loving husband has prove that he can change all of it, just for me. Last friday, a package arrived from the office...My AMM Tote Bag that was bought by Dennis just for me. And after office, I met Dennis after his training at Eastwood in Libis. We have a date!! We dine a Fazoli's..yummy pasta, Italian chicken and refillable drinks, plus a non-stop serving of the buttered bread ( i love it!). Then of course we have more chitty-chats @ Starbucks...coffee-licious!

We have been busy moving our things out from the apartment to our newly rennovated house last weekend..we'll be there with Den's parents and siblings. I'm so happy to fix our things. So excited for our "green room"hehe! And can't wait to fix my scrap nook...its just a small space in our room kasi.
